Re: Notification of the Resolution of the 179th Board of Directors Meeting of Singer Thailand Public Company Limited

The 179th Board of Directors Meeting of Singer Thailand Public Company Limited (the"Company"), held on 14 December 2009 at Conference Room, H.M. Private Property, Srapatum Palace, No. 195 Phya-Thai Road, Bangkok, Thailand, has adopted resolutions on the following significant matters:
1. Acknowledged the resignation from the position of directorship and the position of Managing Director of Mr. Daniel Michel Philiponet, effective on 14 December 2009, and resolved to amend the authorized directors to bind the Company as follows:
"Mr. Gavin John Walker, Mr. Boonyong Tansakul and Mr. Paitoon Sukhanaphorn, two out of these three persons can sign jointly with the Company's seal affixed", effective on 14 December 2009 on wards.2. Approved the appointment of Mr. Boonyong Tansakul as the new Managing Director, in the replacement of Mr. Daniel Michel Philiponet, and approved the scope of authority and responsibilities of the Managing Director, effective on 14 December 2009 on wards.
3. Approved the cancellation of the 13,500,000 share warrants of the Company allocated to Mr. Daniel Michel Philiponet in accordance with the Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders No. 1/2007 held on 19 September 2007, with immediate effect after the resignation from the position of directorship and the position of Managing Director of Mr. Daniel Michel Philiponet pursuant to Section 5.3 of the Details of ESOP.
The Nominating Committee will proceed with the appointment of a new director to fill the position vacated, and will inform our shareholders of such appointment.
